From the earliest stage WIDESHOT was supporting the art team of the IDR production with look and concept development. Besides the fleet of human and alien ships, the look of the enigmatic AI sphere, a rescue satellite from outer space was a central development issue. Though 'alien' to the human race it had to appear technologically highly advanced, friendlier than the ferocious alien invaders yet still mystical and awe inspiring.
